Nichelle D. West
CEO/Founder of Abundance Accounting and Bookkeeping, LLC
Nichelle D. West is an accomplished accounting professional with over eighteen years of experience, bringing a wealth of expertise in financial management, tax preparation, and bookkeeping. With strong interpersonal skills and an in-depth understanding of current accounting practices, she has built a reputation for delivering strategic financial solutions to individuals, small businesses, nonprofits, and government entities.
Nichelle earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from the University of Northern Colorado. She began her career as a Financial Auditor at a CPA firm, where she examined and analyzed financial records to assess the financial health of nonprofits and local government organizations. Simultaneously, she worked as a professional tax preparer with a nationwide tax firm, staying up to date with evolving tax laws while maintaining her commitment to excellence in tax preparation. Today, she is a certified IRS Enrolled Tax Preparer and a proud member of the National Association of Tax Professionals.
To further enhance her bookkeeping expertise, Nichelle earned a Professional Bookkeeping Certificate from the Accounting and Business School of the Rockies. She has provided financial support to numerous multimillion-dollar nonprofit organizations and investment funds, strengthening their financial operations and reporting structures.
In 2011, Nichelle envisioned launching her own accounting and bookkeeping firm—a vision that became a reality in 2017 with the founding of Abundance Accounting and Bookkeeping LLC. As Founder and CEO, she now has the opportunity and privilege to:
